Nexia Tanzania is Registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors in Tanzania in the category of a Large Audit firm in Public Practice.

Every year, during the Graduation Ceremony held by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors in Tanzania (NBAA), we appreciate and give special Awards to candidates for their outstanding performance in their CPA examination papers.  For the past four years we have been awarding Employment opportunities to the NBAA Graduates.

In May 2016, the National Board of Accountants and Auditors in Tanzania (NBAA) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) jointly carried out an Audit Quality Review of our firm. They were satisfied with our quality control and procedures.

Accredited as an ACCA Approved Employer – Platinum for both Professional Development and Trainee Development.

The Professional Development stream recognizes employers who provide learning opportunities for ACCA members to support their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

The Trainee Development stream recognizes the learning opportunities provided for employees working towards; either the ACCA Qualification, Certified Accounting Technician or Diploma in Financial Management. 

In July 2017, ACCA carried out their Monitoring Review of our accreditations. The remote monitoring was successfully approved.

Sujata Jaffer is Registered with the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professionals (IICFIP).

Forensic accounting describes the wide range of investigative work which accountants in practice could be asked to perform and potentially acting as an expert witness if the alleged fraud comes to trial.
